We had so much fun this last weekend. Our cute little niece, Abby, was being blessed in Spanish Fork, Utah. We decided that on our way down we needed to stop and spend some time at Temple Square. We have gone through Salt Lake so many times in the past and not stopped that it was time. We left early and stopped first at the Conference Center and took a tour. The kids loved going up on the roof and seeing all of the trees and plants growing there on top of a building in the middle of the city. They also loved the fountains and waterfalls. Then, we went over to the visitor's center and saw the model of the temple and the Christus. There really wasn't time for us to look at everything and we still want to see the movie that is showing in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. We decided that we will have to come back again after the lights are up so that we can see those, too.
After our stop, we headed to Nephi to Robert's brother's house for dinner with the family. It was the first time we've been to their house since they moved. We sure have missed them and it was good to see them. We got to watch the movie 17 Miracles. I really liked it, and of course, I cried through a lot of it. Then, it was back up to Spanish Fork where we were staying the night.
The baby blessing was beautiful. Little Abby's dress was super cute. My sister-in-law always comes up with the cutest ideas and crafts. I wish I had brought my camera out of my bag, but I kept forgetting it. There were a lot of family there to bless the baby from both sides of the family. She is one really well loved little girl. My kids love spending time with their cousins and we let them play as long as we thought we could, before heading back home Sunday night. It was a really busy weekend, but it was so much fun!
