The 4th of July

We went camping as a family for the 4th of July weekend. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the tent before we got it set up. We went down to Huntsville, Utah for their celebration. My father-in-law is from Hunstville and still has family down there. It was a lot of fun for the kids and the adults. We got to roast hot dogs and marshmallows for dinner, followed by dutch oven peach cobbler. The girls were so excited to have their cousin Rylee stay the night in their tent. Of course, they stayed up way too late, but they had fun.

For breakfast the next morning we went into Huntsville at the city park. They always do a pancake breakfast and it was super yummy. Afterwards was the parade. They had a cannon that they shot off. The kids didn't like the noise, but they thought the candy was great!
Michael and his cousin Joseph had matching shirts. My mother-in-law got all the kids patriotic shirts, but couldn't find any in infant boy sizes, so it is atleast blue.
Here are the girls in their matching shirts. After lunch they went to the park again and played on the playground. It took some convincing to get them all together and standing still for a picture.
Here are the girls playing Ring Around the Rosy. They only played with 2 at a time instead of making a big circle. They had so much fun being around their cousins. 2 of their Utah cousins are coming up to stay a few days with grandma and grandpa so hopefully they can get some more time to play together.
